Statement on Diversity

The Royal Bee Yarn Company is committed to creating a safe space for all. As we gather to knit, crochet, weave, spin, or embroider we are made up of a diverse range of human differences, including, but not limited to: race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic class, physical ability or attributes, religious or ethical values system, national origin, and political beliefs.

The Royal Bee Yarn Company seeks to create an environment in which a diverse people can celebrate, thrive and succeed, feel they are valued, and know their presence is wanted. We encourage all shoppers, stitch group members, and participants at our events to understand each other and move beyond simple tolerance to embracing and celebrating the rich dimensions of diversity.

The Royal Bee Yarn Company has a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination and bullying. We will not tolerate racism, hate speech, discrimination, bullying, exclusion, disrespect, prejudice, harassment, or abuse of any kind. As such, we reserve the right to take appropriate actions including, but not limited to, removing any person who engages in these behaviors in the shop.
